if he's willing. The most common names being floated don't have D-1 head coaching experience, and none of them have it in a league as competitive as the Big 12. The new head coach is going to want some good help around him. Dave Rose has experience, cachet with players, and might be willing to be a short-term assistant/consultant. It would definitely be worth a shot, IMO.
