Like the team shouldn't be associated with the church? Or that being associated with the church shouldn't matter to hiring the second-most-visible position at the university? I can't see why it's "embarrassing" for BYU to have a significantly harder situation than other D1 schools.

Not saying it doesn't limit the pool. Not saying it doesn't suck. Just wondering if you have a solution.
