Is that money is the major driving factor for 99.9% of people. We like to think that those that are in sports as a profession do it because they love to compete and win but the fact is that it’s their livelihood and they view it not that much different than you do your job. Although I imagine it must be a little more enjoyable.
When someone offers you significantly more money to perform the same job (or arguably a better/easier job) then you take it 100% of the time.
It’s one of the reasons I respect the PGA guys who didn’t take LIV money. They showed that they actually care about competition and legacy. Didn’t realize when I started this post it would turn into a PGA/LIV post but here we are.
