reservation holders stretched to make the purchase because they were worried they'd have to wait years if they didn't buy now. Tesla is only selling "foundation" series versions right now which is essentially a $20k premium for FSD and some accessories. They'll sell as many foundation versions as they can. They'll ramp production and eventually the pool of people willing to pay $20k extra will dry up. I think at that point you'll see lots more sellers trying to offload a truck with a $2k monthly payment they can't afford.
