Mother Nature is fickle guys. Always has been and always will be. You think you're pretty smart and have a MIT or Cal or some dumb school degree and you make a lot of money working for a government agency or on a grant or contract and you need to make some wise predictions. You want to write some scholarly articles and books and make some money.
