staff and Pope. I've never felt he was a BYU lifer. Always felt this was just a stepping stone for something else. It's ok not sure he was the best fit anyways. BYU is just different and it is what it is. Now we will see just how good he is with no restrictions or excuses. I think he did a great job but never got the vibe deep down he was super passionate about BYU. Great hype guy for the media but never to me seemed fully invested as a lifer. Imo, BYU needs to get much more of a set oriented coach.
