you can now fly out of Provo and have a similar layover for most international destinations on AA as one would on DL via SLC. The times on the DFW flights are really good for connecting.

That said, it will be interesting to see how AA plays this and prices it, because I still think their primary motivation was to protect a fortress hub in DFW and a secondary in PHX with a relatively small investment (the planes will not be AA mainline). I think AA has a winner here.
