Been watching a weekly WW2 Documentary, which led me to audiobook a book with Albert Speer (Basically minister of the interior, officially minister of munitions and armament).
Listening to this book. . . I just never realized how much Hitler grew to despise and hate his own people for being too weak, not believing enough, not willing to support NAZI doctrine, not willing to do more for the war effort.
What's even more sad, is he thought all those who had so far survived the war were weak or inferior and were not worthy to win the war. He wanted to continue the war as he felt it would be wrong for the weak and inferior to live on after the sacrifices of "The Best".
He really grew to hate his own people and considered them unworthy of his grand vision, so much that he felt their only value was in dying for a great cause. He really was a horrible man.
