Kentucky doesn’t mean he’s automatically going to the NBA. The simple hard fact is that Pope going to Kentucky lowers BYU recruiting ceiling. They obviously won’t compete over most recruits, but if there is a high-end LDS kid, it will be harder for BYU to land that kid.
