A year into his time at BYU his daughter commits to U of U.
Then he leaves BYU for what I think is a step down to coach at Utah. . . where they get 10x the crowds for women's gymnastics compared to MBB.


Honestly, I just get the vibe that he doesn't want to be at BYU. I always thought Pope wanted to be at BYU even if he would leave BYU for a blue blood school and especially his alma mater for more than double the money.


Just spitballing, but the only thing that worries me about Burgess. . . I don't think he wants BYU. But reality is only Chris knows that for sure.
