Maybe a dumb question, but is there a certain size/type of screw that I should get to mount a license plate on a car?

Or just ballpark the size and it’s not that important? The car has the brackets I just need to buy some screws.

buy them from an auto parts store and then you know they'll work. They're cheap too.

Licence plate screws generally have a wide head so they don't have to use a washer to mount.
