Pope probably quadrupled his income or more. And, Pope always wanted the NIL resources that Kentucky has and the blue blood pull that Kentucky has. No surprise Pope took the Kentucky job, just a surprise that it opened when it did. Much as BYU fans enjoyed Pope's enthusiastic approach, so will Kentucky fans.

And, if BYU can keep the team together, despite Pope leaving, then BYU will be a sweet 16 contender next year.
