Players and yet get upset when they exercise it?

This isn’t personal for Pope or Chandler. It’s just business. It’s been this model last few years. Everyone trying to do what is best for them. I don’t think we should begrudge Pope at all.

If anyone deserves criticism of where we are at, it’s those that are here - from fan support through BYU admin - that bear the responsibility to make the brand, environment, economics, etc. as attractive as possible given the mercenary nature of college athletics.

Pope and Chandler are just responding to the environment and incentives. I wish them well.
