We have literally ZERO chance at either one of them if we are still in the WCC... Hiring Burgess was always an option and would have been obtainable if we were in the WCC. However, if we somehow pulled off a Kevin Young hire with Burgess... that tells me BYU is all in. In my opinion, that's the flare being shot up that I have wanted to see, and I just didn't think it would happen. That's a pretty significant commitment... BYU getting the #1 assistant in the NBA is a pretty dang big deal. If BYU can back it up with NIL... we are a serious player in the BIG12.
