Their Pope-like enthusiasm, sneaky sales pitches from subscribers, and the whole "we know something you don't know" get annoying, but really no worse than those on here who drop cryptic hints and tout their connections to FO groups in a "neener-neener" type of way.

I do always appreciate the tidbits from folks sharing what they honestly know (at the time) with us plebes and unwashed masses, even if it ends up being a little off in the long run. And those few who dare to share observations from practices, etc (Texas3Step comes to mind — thank you!). We need more of that on this board for the "have-not" subscribers, imo. I'd pay monthly for that type of reporting. But if that's not CougConnect, then never mind.

Supporting the athletes is decent enough reasoning, but until there is some sort of contract or system of loyalty in place, it's hard to justify. How do all of you NIL contributors feel about those who took your money and just jumped into the portal? Sorry, but no thanks for now.
