Been an actual head coach in the G-league and was very successful. I think it's a bigger wild card if you've never been an actual head coach if you're going to run a tam and program. Sometimes we hear of killer assistant coaches that when put in as the HC it doesn't go well (also happens when assistants are promoted to coordinator positions in football - a la Doman).
