There’s not a chance that Kyle Whittingham is making north of $5 million and the byu basketball coach is making $4 mill+
while the football head coach is less than $4 mill.
Football probably brings in 5-8 times the revenue of the basketball program and there’s no way that BYU is willing to be significantly below Utah. Is byu ok with paying less? Sure but not more than a million per year.
