I stated yesterday that to me it seemed to begin with the fiasco when he said BYU was going to the Big 12 back when TCU took that spot. He had gone out there and thrown in with the crowd and said it was going to happen. Then it didn't, and he was left with egg on his face. I don't know this for sure, but I've lived in Utah during his whole career broadcasting BYU and I've noticed this subsequent to that event.
