Stock EVs are amazing, but the Lucid Sapphire is $250,000. Hank Iroz with 35k in upgrades to an
Audi RS3 that was $65k from factory (so $100k) did 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and a quarter mile below 9 (so faster than Lucid Sapphire). And around a track these EVs get blown away by ICE cars, especially more than just 1 or 2 laps because their brakes melt.
But yes, EVs make some amazing light to light cars.
