Maybe this was posted before but Just a reminder when people get up in arms: athletics aren’t subsidized by tithing.
It’s a separate “auxiliary” budget. I don’t have details yet, but the ability to pay is most likely flowing from very prudent use of resources overtime by BYU athletics, Donors and big $12.
