Toyotas are among the most reliable (if not the most reliable) vehicles one can get. Doesn’t mean they’re perfect.
I’ve seen Camry’s on the side of the road with issues or being towed.

I’d personally go with keeping one and getting a new one—just personal preference—and look at the new one as the beginning of another 20-year time frame and being just as committed to maintenance and upkeep. At least one of the cars will need to be replaced at some point. Why wait until it actually does break down? You can probably get a some by selling or trading it in.

I also don’t want to risk wife and child being in a vehicle that has even a small chance of ending up on the side of the road for some reason.
