The pandering has definitely come farther in the NCAA than it used to be but no
doubt is worse in the NBA. But while there is some recruiting for free agency, there is far less than in college. Mostly in the NBA it is guys saying they want to play with so and so or guys saying they want X amount of money (which now also happens in college).
