I know for a fact that some players couldn't be there due to school commitments.
More than one of the players who were not at the press conference DID attend the team meeting that was held prior to the press conference, but had to leave for other school commitments, and were bummed to miss it. Hard to believe these kids have to actually do the whole school thing with classes and homework, right?
So yes, don't read into who wasn't there too deeply.
