You are correct and everybody else is wrong.
A deep run isn't going to move the needle for recruits, unless MAYBE they win a championship. But that's in June. No way I want my head basketball coach two months away from being able to do his job. His resume speaks for itself at this point. The sooner he's in Provo the better.
This is especially the case for transfer portal guys. This is priority #1, and we don't have two months to wait. Assistants can help, but we need our coach.
