For the last 15 years almost every player and coach post a thank you to the school and fans they are leaving. So I was miffed thinking Pope INTENTIONALLY didn’t do so when he left byu.

But I finally just checked his twitter and he didn’t write one of those posts when he left UVU either!

This is a game changer for me. Apparently it’s just not his thing. Has nothing to do with byu. I now don’t have any ill feelings about the silence.

Now whether Fueger has actually been recruiting our guys while he was still in campus…that is another story.

Also I want to give one last correction that no one was mad at him for leaving. There are STILL posts saying “wHy ArE YoU gUyS hoLdiNg iT aGaInSt hIm fOr lEaVinG”
No one cares about that. Everyone knew he would at some point. The timing sucks but that’s it. People are only upset about the silence. But i no longer am for the reasons above.
