I’ve been Utah a few days after 8 years of east coast living. A few observations
1. There are so many children everywhere. It’s really jarring compared to New England

2. It is surprising how much Salt Lake/Utah counties have continued to build out.

3. I’ve never seen so many pickups raised up for no purpose whatsoever.

4. Orem is more dangerous than I could have possibly imagined. I was worried I wasn’t wearing neutral gang colors.

5. Yesterday, I thought I saw Richie Saunders on the phone outside. It was weird because somebody kept following him and hiding in the bushes and taking notes.

6. I forgot how many chain restaurants are here.

7. I didn’t realize how much the Church likes building temples so close to the highway.
