I think this captures it. It’s like you helped a neighbor for an hour move
some things in his garage and then he just walks in the house, showers, gets dressed and goes off with his friends.

Not going to keep me up at night but in our civilized society there are social mores such as saying, “Thanks.”

Not offended. Not hurt. No grudge. It’s just weird.
