TH said they knew at that time he was someone they’d want in the future but it wasn’t time yet. Also said he’s
grown as a coach and is even better now in several ways. Timing is so often a very important aspect in life.

You might be right. But doubt he'll leave before he brings the program up to a durable higher level. Jazz HC someday?
