You don’t know that for sure, if they give him a clear path to competing in 2025 & promise to trade him if they don’t
Land anyone.
Though I’m confident they would with assets like they have + a top 3 pick.
In my mind, that’s a lot Better than adding some mediocre player now and maybe getting to be the 6/7 seed at best.
Just play Lauri with all the young guys next season.
