experience?

I find hockey on TV to be borderline unwatchable. I can't tell where the puck is, I don't fully understand the rules, and the play stoppages seem random. BUT, in person, hockey is absolutely bonkers amazing. The sound, the speed, the way the glass shakes when someone is slammed up against it, the fights...it's just awesome.
