I struggle to see how having $300k+ in early 20s is not life changing
It's $2MM+ at retirement even if you do nothing for the rest of your life. It's the difference between buying a house immediately and having a low payment versus having to save for 5+ years to get a house at a higher payment. There are plenty of ways one could use it to get a really solid head start on adult life.
