I'm moving out of state shortly, so the hundreds I was spending on tickets, CC, etc are free to be reallocated to NIL.
I'm not a big fan of the college game no longer being amateur, I think that's true for almost everyone. But our choices as a fanbase are either to stop caring about the college game and let BYU athletics die in the process or make the best of a flawed system.
The silver lining in all this, for me, is that this was always how the big programs were doing things under the table. But of course, BYU was never going to play that kind of game. So getting it out in the open could be a big blessing in the long run for the program, assuming fans stick with it through the wild west days of NIL. I do think it will eventually get better though.
