TW's great at mass marketing, has some very catchy songs and has captured the enthusiasm of young girls, the genYers that were teens when she first launched her career and the moms that are super desperate to cling to something 'cool' (see Barbi movie fans, Twilight moms and Stanley Cup collectors).

I'm not a TS fan, but have a daughter that has shared the tunes. My four sons have nothing to do with Swift – because they have guy music taste.
