This is not the AD's fault. That is ridiculous. The AD cannot pay players
It is that simple.
In High School we pay players $0. In fact they have to pay to play. Is that the same as college? No. But college isn't the same as the pros either.
In the NBA do they have contracts? They do? Well that is different.
The Head Coach has been and continues to be the most important person in regards to a college basketball program. They get paid by the university as such.
