I don't know what being a white guy has to do with it, but Pope doesn't have a

track record of putting guys in the NBA or tournament success. I think guys are committing more to the Kentucky name or his sales pitch/enthusiasm until he develops that sort of success.

Just looking at history, if I want to go the NBA, I play for coach Cal.
