Hear me out: I think schools can subsidize NIL donations by fans in the form of
discounted tickets. As it stands, the schools are double dipping by asking fans to contribute to NIL funds, while simultaneously raising ticket prices to increase revenues.

I propose that the schools create (or behind the scenes "approve of") a designated NIL fund. When fans contribute to this fund, they receive a receipt/voucher/whatever you want to call it. The fans then take that receipt to the school when purchasing tickets and get a discount. Maybe a $100 contribution gets you a $75 dollar discount. This would allow the school to basically pay the players (indirectly) by subsidizing the funds donated by fans.

Thoughts?
