I have a long commute and my wife is in grad school. It feels like I am in survival mode. So I have been eating fast food 1-2 times per day for the last 5 years.
Two weeks ago I finally got tired of the ridiculous prices and said No Mas!
Now if I need a quick meal I go to a super market deli and get something.
For breakfast I microwave a Jimmy Dean sausage egg cheese croissant and an apple.
Not super healthy but it fills me up adequately.
I’ve lost 3 pounds. I run about 20 miles per week and was not losing weight due to my crummy diet.
I’m just saying that I didn’t think I could live without fast food because of my schedule. But it’s easier than I thought.
