We love the Roku ecosystem so all our TVs are either Roku TVs, have Roku Expresses or the one Roku Ultra. Both Apple and Android have the Roku app so that you can open up a remote on your phone for any device and you can switch audio for that device through your phone earbuds. If my wife wants to watch TV while I am asleep she listens on her earbuds.

I also take a Roku Express on the road with me for those hotels or Air-bnb's that I can't directly access my accounts.

The advantage of the Ultra is that it comes with a network jack that you can wire to your home internet and not rely upon Wifi.
