around here and elsewhere don't really see what NBA offenses are truly like. They see a great player with the ball in his hands, and that's all they see. I'm no great observer myself, but today's NBA features some very sophisticated ball and player movement. Young developed his reputation for offensive brilliance via stints at a few organizations in the G-league and the NBA. It's not just a couple great players making a coach look good. I have NO doubt that the Xs and Os will be a strength. The only question with KY is how fast he can spin up on recruiting, NIL, and other non-NBA-like aspects of the job. Once he has his staff in place we'll feel a lot more sure that whatever weaknesses he currently has will be shored up.
