In a weird spot (not complaining) but things are changing.
Not active, but have always followed byu because of family affiliation. Have also had one foot in the UW/WSU spot and another in the Oregon/Oregon State camps due to proximity of where I grew up.

When it comes to NFL and NBA, I've always had "my teams", but would also watch games because I wanted to follow college players that I had cheered for.

NIL and the transfer portal are changing how my fandom works. I like college sports and professional sports because of the differences that they have, but I fear that college sports are going to turn into minor leagues.

I don't like how the waters are being muddied in college sports to make it seem like semi pro, and players just following money.

I understand why athletes are doing it, it just seems to be taking away some of the tradition or college sports.
