Would he be going hard after Chandler next year? Some white kid from northern Utah? Or Saunders, some hustle guy on a team from the other side of the country? Nah.

He’s trying to pluck these guys because it’s easy plucking. He knows them, and he needs to fill an entire roster in Lexington.

Going forward, he isn’t going to be focusing one bit on the local Utah or LDS scene. Sure, he will go after the rare Jabari Parker types, but that’s going to happen regardless of who is coaching there.
