Dudes and lady dudes, relax. This isn't any different from any other year. You win some and lose some. Players come and go. Pope was good, bad, bad and good. Sports runs in cycles.
Re-listen to Elder Gong's story of the man that has a horse wander onto his land. The other villagers called him 'lucky'. He said, "we shall see.". Later he falls off the horse and is crippled. The villagers call him unlucky. He says, "we shall see." An invading army comes and enlists all the healthy men to fight in their armies. Because he's crippled he is passed over. The villagers say he's lucky....
How this relates to sports, we'll see how this all works out. It looks bad, but can be awesome.
A team I coached had two players that were far better than any of my other players. One dad convinced another dad to take them to another team (he worked with the coach of a premier youth team). They both left. Then the parents of 2 other starters panicked seeing the top two players leaving and left (that was half the 9 v 9 starters). It looked bad. Ultimately, all the other players were forced depend less on the two stars and learned to play better and we are a much better team (we did have one rough season). You never know what will happen.
