months ago and finally got to the point where it was non-functional. Repair guy replaced the computer inside, and it didn't fix the issue.

I went and found a used 2017 Speed Queen (had to go back that old to find one that didn't have a computer board inside), and it runs like a champ. And it gets the clothes, especially muddy or stained clothes, much cleaner than the Maytag (Maytag was also a top loader).
