This newer model looks nicer because you can control it from the front panel also. Mine didn't have the front interface and I can only control it manually from the app.


It has worked fine for us. They have an app that lets you have a regular schedule and turn zones on/off from the app. I bought it at a time when the Rachio 16 zone one at $200 seemed like a pretty expensive cost to us, and I think we got ours for around $50 when it was on a deal. That $64 is their regular price. Of course, it is Aliexpress, so you might not get it until the second week of May.
