summer, which I have no doubt they do. That would make him under contract until 2029 at like $60 million per year. He would be 38 years old. Kawhi is on the books through 28 at 50 million per year. That's actually a good price for his ability, but the injuries issues bring down his value.
KD is on the books through 26, Beal through 27, and Booker through 28.
I probably give the edge to the Suns. They have no draft assets right now, but Booker and KD are two contracts they can deal that would immediately get them all the assets they gave up plus some. Booker is the most valuable contract of the five, IMO. Of course, they would be without those guys if they traded them, but they could have a pretty firm foundation to build on. Beal is not a good contract, but for their situation, it could be worse.
The problem with the Clips is that I don't think their contracts will be as tradeable going forward. Kawhi is going to start aging and he can have a major injury at any time, which would leave the Clippers stuck with that huge contract. George is going to start getting real old on a real expensive contract if the Clippers bring him back. It might be tradeable the first couple years, but it will go down in value from there and it could go down quickly.
