The pennies are irrelevant. And NIL has a cap on years (1-2 if you're a junior), whereas pro BBall pays in to your bank account for many years. And even if you play foreign, there are still endorsements in other countries to supplement the salary.

Clamoring for playing time is one thing, but clamoring for NIL is silly, IMO. If you can command BIG $'s for NIL, you can likely command even BIGGER $'s at the next level.
