I have had horrible anxiety surrounding dentist visits since an abusive incident as a child, as well as several inadequately skilled or fraudulent practitioners.
I have put off taking care of my dental health as a result, choosing to gut out broken teeth and skip routine cleanings. With some break in employment and losing insurance soon, I chose to take a leap of faith and on the suggestion of several CBers went to see Kerm.
I could not have asked for a better experience. He immediately put me at ease, let me ramble on and on to him about all my hang ups, poor experiences/care, and laid out a care plan that pleasantly surprised me. I left his office with a sense of trust that I haven’t had for a dentist in a very long while.
Thanks to the board members who made the suggestion, and a bigger thanks to Kerm for the patience, care and earning my trust. Wishing I would have done this much sooner.
