Last question for the day. To all the older CB’rs who grew up in SoCal in the
70’s and 80’s, did “beach bum/surfer dudes” really talk like Spicoli BEFORE Fast Times came out? Or did they start talking like that AFTER Fast Times?
*side note. Man I love that movie. So good. So classic. So 80’s. That was the pinnacle of human existence. If I could choose any moment in time live on loop, it would be early 80’s SoCal exactly how it’s portrayed in that movie.
