They get even smaller than that. The Toro Dingo is a walk behind and can be
rented at most equipment rental places. The question is which attachments would be best for first, breaking up the dirt, and then leveling it.

What is the width of the entry to the space? Home Depot has mini-excavators that are as narrow as 36" I think...
