Hillstead was a key part in the success for Skyridge week in and week out and gave Corner Canyon fits with his ability to beat their defense. He played in a very complicated zone offense and was very successful and tough to stop.

Burton never faced a defense like CC. Burton was a handoff artist with designed throws by their outdated power I offense at Springville. The only defense that Springville ever faced that had the same caliber was Lehi's defense in the championship and he got soundly beat.
